Deer Minerals

Raising the healthiest, hardiest deer demands the highest quality minerals! But not just any nourishment blend will do. Mineral blends designed for livestock like horses, sheep and cattle are not formulated to meet the unique metabolic needs of cervine animals such as whitetail. In some cases a poorly-optimized mineral blend will even damage a deer’s health!

For example, mineral blends for cattle are highly concentrated in salt. Deer do require sodium throughout the warmer months, and they will often avail themselves of a cow’s salt lick when given the chance. Yet they will quickly abandon it because it doesn’t provide the delicate balance of calcium, copper, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, zinc and other trace minerals they require to remain at their absolute healthiest.

Big Buck Adventures takes extraordinary care to create the ideal mineral blend that supports healthy organ, bone, hide and antler growth in deer all year round. We keep our costs low by blending in bulk, mixing one ton of essential nutrients at a time. We then parcel out our premium deer mineral blend into 20-pound bags for our customers. It’s reasonably priced, the perfect supplement to any fodder or forage, and just what you need to raise superior specimens in any climate.

We’re proud of our deer mineral blend, which is why we’re eager to share its exact composition with you. Reach out to Big Buck Adventures today to learn more!
